The owners are on the property, so most of this is arranged in a two-minute conversation rather than a booking form. Message us before you arrive or once you are here.
Day-to-day help with anything inside the cabin.
The owners live on site, so requests are handled in person rather than through a call centre. Extra towels, a fan, a late check-out when the room allows it, help with the air conditioning or the kettle, laundry sent out and returned folded.
A private car and English-speaking driver by the hour or the day.
Airport transfers from Ngurah Rai, a run into central Ubud for dinner, or a full day with the car waiting while you walk. The same drivers work with the property regularly, so pick-up times are held rather than approximated.
Guided day tours across Bali, run by our own tour company.
Tours are run under a separate business, Elvina Bali Tour, with its own itineraries and its own booking. Guests staying at the cabins arrange them the same way anyone else does, and the pick-up is simply at your veranda.
Quieter things happening within a few kilometres of Petulu.
Petulu has its own rhythm and it is not the one central Ubud runs on. The herons come back to the trees along the main road most evenings. There are offerings being made, a cooking class two villages over, a silversmith who takes visitors. We point you at the ones worth the trip.
Automatic scooters delivered to the property.
Delivered clean and fuelled, with two helmets. The road into Ubud is straightforward; the lanes north of us are better. Bring a licence that covers you, and check that your travel insurance does too.
Massage and treatments, either on site or booked nearby.
A Balinese massage on your veranda after a day of walking, or a booking at a spa in Ubud that we would use ourselves. Therapists come to the property with their own table and oils.
Breakfast, warung recommendations and deliveries that arrive hot.
Breakfast can be brought to your veranda in the morning. Beyond that, we will tell you which warung in Petulu is worth walking to and which Ubud restaurants deliver this far north without the food going cold.
The small things that are easier to solve here than in town.
Drinking water, a local SIM card, an adapter, sun cream, a pharmacy run, a printed document. None of it is complicated, all of it takes an hour out of your day if you sort it yourself.
Entry tickets and seats arranged before you arrive at the gate.
Monkey Forest entry, a kecak performance, a ferry to the Gilis, a day pass somewhere with a view. Held in advance so you are not queuing in the sun with a card that will not read.
